In today's market, trial versions of software applications are common, allowing users to test and become familiar with the product before purchase. However, this is not typically the case with hardware. By creating software simulations of hardware products, we provide potential clients the opportunity to interact with and understand the machine's capabilities before dealing with shipments, logistics, and invoices, making these simulations a successful sales tool.
My journey into hardware simulations began in 2007. Initially, I utilized Adobe Flash for these simulations. Today, there are more modern tools like HTML5 and Figma that can quickly create immersive and interactive experiences, helping clients make informed decisions about their hardware investments.
